Inspirations: An Online Gallery by Dr. Andreas Thust

This gallery showcases early digital works by Dr. Andreas Thust, marking the starting point of an artistic journey that continues to this day. Dating back to the pre-AI era, these visuals were – with the exception of a few photographs – elaborately crafted using 3D ray tracing.

Between 2007 and about 2017, Dr. Thust utilized the highly demanding ray tracing technique to translate his imagination into digital reality. Every envisioned object had to be mathematically defined, and millions of individual light rays were calculated to form the final image. His own portraits featured in the "About Me" section likewise date back to this same early creative period.

A broader and more recent selection of works is shown in his Current Portfolio.
